Facing the Threat of a Pandemic Influenza
When Katrina hit last year, America – especially corporate America – wasn’t prepared for the devastation. The tragic loss of more than a thousand lives, utter decimation of community infrastructure, millions of hours of lost production, and plunging sales took everyone by surprise. We said as a nation “this can never happen again”…just as we did after 9/11.
Now we face a national threat on a much larger scale – Pandemic. It has been reported by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that when – not if – Avian Flu mutates to humans, and potentially rises to pandemic proportion, corporate America will experience a 20-30% plummet in revenue and employee absenteeism – in addition to an enormous loss of life. The business sector cannot put off until tomorrow, the training and preparation required to counter the impact on employees, sales, and yes, even stockholders, in a pandemic environment.
We invite you to join us for an executive briefing hosted by Campbell Soup Company, and featuring government experts including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies. This forum on November 14, 2006, will provide the tools and information you need to prepare your company for the future.
Seating is limited to 150 participants and will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Please review the attached program overview along with the registration information and RSVP by November 9, 2006, to ensure your place at this important summit.
