Para-Toluidine

Product Description

Para-Toluidine (PTOL) is a clear, colorless liquid as manufactured. PTOL solidifies to an off-white crystalline solid at about 43°C. It is sensative to air and/or light, and the presence of either will tend to hasten discoloration. This discoloration does not affect purity and is important only where final product quality is affected by color.

Marketing & Distribution

First Chemical Corporation markets and distributes its products worldwide from its industrial chemicals complex in Pascagoula, Mississippi, on the Gulf of Mexico.

First Chemical ships PTOL as a cast solid in 55-gallon nonreturnable steel drums with a net weight of 441 pounds (200 kilograms), or as a molten liquid in tank trucks.
