N-Ethyl-meta-toluidine (NEMT) is a clear, yellowish to light brown liquid that tends to darken on storage. It is sensitive to air and/or light and the presence of either will tend to hasten discoloration. This discoloration does not affect purity and is important only where final product quality is affected by color.
