In a single year, First Chemical received the Crop Protection Supplier Quality Recognition Award from Monsanto, the Milestone Award for Best Performing Raw Materials Supplier from Bayer, and the Best Performing Raw Materials Supplier Award presented by Bayer's Baytown facility.

In 1996, First Chemical obtained ISO 9002 Certification. The company's scope of registration covers every aspect of commercial products and guarantees customer satisfaction up to delivery of the product. The entire commercialization process - which covers environmental, production, safety, development, quality, and financial issues - is also included in the certification.

More recently, First Chemical is also kicking off a shelf life study for all commercial products. Results of this study will document "PRODUCT QUALITY" during manufacturing, after drumming, and samples for one, two and three-year time intervals.

In an attempt to duplicate exact storage conditions, First Chemical has committed to storing product in exact containers, in multiple all container sizes as shipped to customers, and in the same warehouse our products are stored in so environmental factors are also a part of the study. Anticipations are that it will take 4 to 5 years to collect all data for a three year study.
