In the European Union, cases of salmonellosis are second only to campylobacteriosis in terms of number of outbreaks in humans. Each year there are approximately 140,000 reported cases, and food is considered the main source of infection.

The customizable library gives the ability to add additional patterns with every run and supports the development of company specific libraries.
