The Grand Prix Cyrel® - EMEA
The Grand Prix Cyrel® competition, a powerful engine to promote the growth of flexography within the printing packaging industry, was initiated in 1982 and it has developed into a key event for the whole flexo industry.
The 2005 Regional Grand Prix Cyrel® attracted hundreds of trade shops, plate makers, printers, converters, retailers and packaging buyers, entries were received from allover Europe, Middle East and Africa. All previous records were broken with more than 1700 submissions. The continuous success and the growing importance of the Grand Prix Cyrel® reflect the great progress made during the last few years, due to pioneering work by DuPont on digital imaging workflow, thermal mass transfer and round technology, which definitively revolutionized packaging printing. The next Grand Prix Cyrel® will show the future development of flexography and once again will bring valuable knowledge for top quality packaging printing.
