What is DuPont™ Seed Germination Blanket?
DuPont™ Seed Germination Blanket is a natural excelsior blanket that provides a temporary organic cover to help reduce erosion, protect seeds, enhance germination and promote turf establishment.

What is it made of?
Aspen wood fiber and a one-sided polypropylene netting.

How is it installed?
Prepare a fine graded seed bed and then add seed and fertilizer. Unroll DuPont™ Seed Germination Blanket with the netting side up. Secure the blanket with DuPont™ Biodegradable Stakes every 2 to 5 feet. For more than one width, simply abut edges together and secure with a common stake.

Is grass seed included in the blanket?
No. Seed and fertilizer must be added prior to installing the blanket.

Is the blanket weed-free?
Yes, DuPont™ Seed Germination Blanket is 100% weed-free.
