DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise and NeoStrata Announce Glypure® L Licensing Agreement

WILMINGTON, Del., May 4, 2006 – DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise and NeoStrata Company, Inc. today announced that makers of topical personal care and cosmetic items can now use DuPont™ Glypure® L brand glycolic acid in cosmetic anti-aging and over-the-counter prescription drug applications under a pass-through license from TriStrata, a wholly owned subsidiary of NeoStrata Company, Inc. Claims for these products, based on the inclusion of glycolic acid, are governed by existing TriStrata patents. Financial terms of the licensing agreement were not disclosed.

The pass-through license from TriStrata enables Glypure® L customers to make glycolic acid claims in cosmetic aging and enhanced performance of certain over-the-counter and prescription drug products. TriStrata customers with existing glycolic acid licenses will continue to operate under their existing licenses.
