DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise announced today that Univar USA will become the national sales agent in the continental United States for DuPont™ Glypure® and Glypure® L cosmetic grade glycolic acid. Glycolic Acid is among the most popular active ingredients in anti-aging formulations, including cell turnover/exfoliation products, wrinkle reduction creams, skin peeling products, acne treatments, combinations with sunscreens, and many more popular formulated products for skin care applications.

DuPont selected Univar for sales agency privileges in the United States because of the company’s track record in achieving targeted growth and for its outstanding reputation in the chemical solutions and personal care industries.

These highly refined products are used in personal care and skin care anti-aging applications to enhance performance in many topical over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription (Rx) applications. Customers purchasing Glypure® L have the added benefit of being automatically licensed to market products for cosmetic anti-aging indication, as well as in combination with OTC and prescription drug actives for enhanced therapeutic effect under license from TriStrata, a wholly owned subsidiary of NeoStrata Company, Inc.
