We are committed to helping the government save lives during everyday operations and emergencies by responding to dangerous situations.
DuPont has one of the best workplace safety records in the industry. We are bringing this knowledge to the government through safety services, including consulting and training in workplace safety, contractor safety, asset and capital effectiveness, ergonomics, emergency response, high performance fibers and protective apparel.
We have helped to reduce injuries at three Army posts in a pilot program with the Department of Defense, and we have assisted the U.S. Mint and the AOC (Architect of the Capitol) with their workplace safety efforts. We continue to work with NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), and at major municipal transit authorities in LA, NYC, and Chicago.
Since 1985, more than 83,000 people in more than 860 cities in 20 countries have received DuPont Emergency Response Training. Trainees have included firefighters, police officers, emergency workers, medical personnel,
industrial responders, and members of 10 United States
Government agencies.
