Jeff G. Fackler is the North America Market Segment Leader, Law Enforcement, Emergency response, and Fire Services, DuPont Protection Technologies (DPT). In his role, Jeff is responsible for market strategy and business development for DuPont’s North America law enforcement, emergency response, and fire services protective apparel business, better known as the Kevlar®, Tychem®, and Nomex® brands, to help protect the firefighter, hazmat responder, and police officer. These applications include body armor, turnout gear, chemical protective garments other personal protective equipment.
To successfully drive innovation from the end user perspective, Jeff works closely with the police officer, hazmat responder, and firefighter through his roles in various fire services and law enforcement organizations, and translates this into new product development via leading cross-functional product teams. Jeff is a current, active member of The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Foundation Board of Directors; the IACP Police Standards, Image, and Ethics Committee; and the Department of Justice Private/Public Partnership Initiative. Additionally, Jeff supports Government Affairs and Marketing initiatives to help drive government business development strategy for DPT.
Jeff joined DuPont in 1982, and has held various roles in Marketing / Business Development, Sales, Training, Site, and Strategic Planning Management, as well as being a Six Sigma Sales & Marketing Deployment Champion and Six Sigma Black Belt. From 1982 - 2006, Jeff worked in the Coatings and Color Technologies business before moving into the DuPont Personal Protection business for the last four years. Jeff is a previous awardee of both the DuPont Marketing and Sales Excellence Award for Environmental Marketing and the recipient of the DuPont HR Significant Contribution Award as member of the Six Sigma Top Line Growth Champions Network, for successful deployment of Six Sigma into Marketing and Sales, and delivery of over $1.5B in validated top line revenue. Jeff graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and focus on business and marketing management.
