Collaborative solutions for India automotive industry through science 

DuPont is a market-driven science company. We spent US$1.7 billion on R&D. However, DuPont science alone cannot solve all the world’s challenges. So we are building alliances across borders with people, companies, governments, and organizations in an effort to improve the lives of people everywhere.

The DuPont India Innovation Center in Pune is part of this global collaboration effort. The center will create opportunity and space to display industry specific innovations, latest technology offerings and industry trends to stimulate customer dialogue. By working with local partners and connecting them through real-time video technology with our global science network composing of 9,500 scientists, chemists and engineers working in 100 R&D centers, we believe we can better exchange ideas, and create an inclusive atmosphere that will lead to innovative solutions.

Our goal is to get more products into the market place, at a much faster rate.

Meeting local needs, DuPont India Innovation Center will focus primarily on the automotive segment. We shall work closely with OEMs and component & system manufacturers to develop automotive products and solutions in areas of “sustainability”, “light weight”, “improved performance”, ”alternative drive”, “safety” and “comfort and design”. These will be “new to DuPont” and “new to the world” solutions that come about from collaboration and partnership.
