DuPont India aims to turn solar possibilities into reality

Showcasing the company’s leading photovoltaic solutions, DuPont has installed photovoltaic modules at the company’s R&D and knowledge services center - the DuPont Knowledge Center (DKC) - at Hyderabad in India to enable the facility to meet part of its energy requirements through solar energy. The DuPont Knowledge Center is the first R&D facility in India to have received the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver certification last year. » More

DuPont to Set up New Innovation Center in India

DuPont today announced that it will set up a new Innovation Center in India, thus expanding its strategic footprint to fuel local collaboration in support of the India growth strategy. The DuPont India Innovation Center will be located in Pune and will focus primarily on the automotive segment, working collaboratively with local partners, customers and other companies. DuPont Hosts a ‘Global Collaboratory’ on Food

DuPont helps more than 300 rural school children gain access to clean water

DuPont is taking the lead to improve the lives of people in the communities around its DuPont Knowledge Center (DKC) located in Hyderabad. DuPont undertook complete civil and plumbing and installation of Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification systems in three Primary schools, located in Turkupalli Village, Hyderabad. Close to three hundred children under the age of ten years will now have access to drinking water. » More

DuPont and Advanta have entered into a collaboration and licensing agreement to develop and deliver sorghum with increased productivity and value

 Under the agreement, DuPont will provide proprietary biotechnology traits and enabling technologies to Advanta for the purpose of developing improved biotechnology sorghum products.  DuPont business Pioneer Hi-Bred and Advanta will have commercial rights to sorghum products developed under the agreement, once regulatory approvals have been received.  Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. » More

I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, popularly referred to as DuPont, and Ahmedabad, India-based textile manufacturer Arvind Limited, popularly referred to as Arvind, announce a strategic alliance for Arvind to manufacture and market DuPont™ Nomex® brand fiber based Flame Resistant (FR) fabrics and Industrial apparels in India, SriLanka, Bangladesh & Nepal.  Under the marketing and brand licensing agreement, DuPont will supply DuPont™ Nomex® brand fiber and provide technical support to Arvind for manufacture of Nomex® Flame Resistant (FR) fabrics. » More
