DuPont™ Kapton® BCL-Y is a two-sided, printable, homogeneous film that possesses excellent hydrolytic and chemical durability. Kapton® BCL-Y has the same thermal, chemical and electrical properties of general purpose Kapton® HN, which offers excellent performance in temperatures from -269-400°C.
Kapton® BCL-Y is pigmented to provide contrast and eliminate the need for opaque coatings. Printing on BCL-Y can be accomplished with thermal transfer and laser printing.
The non-wicking property of BCL-Y makes it an excellent choice for use as a pressure sensitive label in harsh chemical environments and extreme temperatures.
