Gloves

For decades, DuPont™ Kevlar® technology has protected soldiers’ hands from cuts, slashes, abrasions and fire. Through the Rapid Fielding Initiative (RFI) a new Kevlar® combat glove was deployed in 2005,  to highly positive feedback. Combined with the other Nomex® glove offerings, it protects soldiers in a wide range of applications—from jet-fighter pilots using Nomex® flyers’ gloves, to combat-vehicle crews using the Nomex® CVC glove, to the infantry using Nomex® and Kevlar® combat gloves. This expansion of protection from the “mounted” to the dismounted fighter is helping more military personnel keep their hands safe.
