*Note: the 2” – 3” layer of stone or mulch is ESSENTIAL. Like most fabrics, DuPont™ WeedFree™ Pro Commercial Landscape Fabric can be damaged from constant exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays. Also, stone or mulch retards the occasional fabric penetration by particularly aggressive grasses and weeds. Over time, organic mulch will eventually break down and serve as a rooting site for weeds and grasses.
