DuPont Liquid Packaging Systems (DLPS), also known as Liqui-Box, is launching a number of innovations to provide significant performance improvements and competitive advantages to their liquid food and beverage industry customers, and also to benefit consumers.

Some of the innovations being launched include:

• DuPont™ Crystalon™ Liquid Packaging System – A revolutionary breakthrough in form fill and seal technology for bag forming, filling and carton loading. This technology transforms the bag and fill process into a single compact, integrated system giving the wine industry unprecedented flexibility, productivity, fill accuracy and cost savings. The superior package, along with a new tamper-evident dispenser, helps to maintain the integrity and quality of wine.
  
• DuPont™ Q-Connect™ – A new single-spouted tube dispensing system for aseptic or shelf-stable liquid beverage, condiment and food products. This cost-effective, easy-to-use fitment will enable customers to fill and dispense their products through a single spouted bag for even greater packaging efficiencies. This innovation will also virtually eliminate the potential for compromised shelf life associated with pre-attached tubes made from poor oxygen barrier material.
  
• DuPont™ StarAsept™ Bulk Aseptic Packaging System – Upgrades resulting in expanded capacity to package an even broader range of foods.
  
• DuPont™ FlexFX™ Inner Ply Film – A unique new film with proprietary technology for bulk packaging that offers enhanced flex-crack and thermal resistance to significantly reduce the potential for pinholes that could compromise the packaging’s asepticity. Using this new film can also potentially reduce or eliminate the need for additional dunnage or packing materials – and their associated costs – to secure packages traveling long distances.

DLPS has also just announced the next generation DuPont™ StarAsept™ Uniseal fitment with its simpler, integrated one-piece seal design and multiple seal points that contribute to a more robust aseptically packaged environment.
