New flexible Packaging Facility Opens in Manchester, England
A new DuPont Liquid Packaging Systems manufacturing facility began operations
in Wythenshawe, Manchester England, January 2008. The plant produces premade bags for bag-in-box applications serving our growing customers base in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and also beyond EMEA for more specialized flexible packaging offerings.

DuPont Liquid Packaging Systems Agrees to Sell Performance Films Segment and Whitby Operating Facility to Exopack Performance Films Inc.
DuPont Liquid Packaging Systems, also known as Liqui-Box, today announced a definitive agreement to sell its performance films business segment (encompassing the Sclairfilm® and Dartek® operations) and its Whitby, Ontario, operating facility to Exopack Performance Films Inc. (“Exopack”), an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, Inc., a leading private investment firm located in Boca Raton, Florida. The transaction is expected to close in November 2007, subject to regulatory approval. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

DuPont Expands Investment in China and Establishes the Second Production Base in Shenzhen
Du Pont China Holding Company Limited today hosted a grand opening for DuPont (Shenzhen) Industrial Company Limited in Shenzhen Futian Free Trade Zone, its second production base in the City. The grand opening marks the production startup of two new facilities, namely DuPont Liquid Packaging Systems, part of DuPont Agriculture & Nutrition Platform and DuPont Displays, a business in the DuPont Electronics & Communication Technologies Platform.
