The DuPont™ Q-Connect™ fitment consists of a one piece molded cap that features two security membranes. To use the package simply insert the disposable sanitary tube into the fitment. The one-time use spout is immediately locked into place providing a safe, leak-proof dispensing system designed to minimize the risk of product contamination. Potential for compromised shelf life due to pre-attached tubes of poor oxygen barrier is virtually eliminated.
The DuPont™ Q-Connect™ fitment can be used with existing bag-in-box filling systems, allowing customers to continue using their current dispensing taps with the Q-Connect spout. The Q-Connect is ideal for products such as coffee cream and viscous products including cheese sauce.
