DuPont™ FlexFx™ inner ply film was developed specifically for aseptic bulk bags shipped long distances. Constant movement and vibration during transport, combined with headspace in the package can cause pinhole cracks to develop in bulk bags that can compromise the oxygen barrier, and potentially breach the bag’s asepticity.
DuPont™ FlexFx™ is made from a unique polyolefin blend that improves the flexibility of the film nearly eliminating flex-cracks and pinholes. DuPont™ FlexFx™ film offers improved thermal resistance reducing what’s commonly referred to as “crocodile skin” the wrinkling of the bag’s outer layer caused by the high heat used in the sterilization and packaging process.
