DuPont Microcircuit Materials Highlights 943 Low Loss Green Tape⢠Material System at IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium
DuPont Microcircuit Materials (MCM) today announced the introduction of two new DuPont™ Green Tape ™ low temperature, co-fired ceramic (LTCC) material systems - 943 KX and 943 PX - for low loss, high frequency applications. Designed for use in military phased array and automotive short-range radar, these new products offer exceptional reliability, lower loss, and lower cost vs. comparable organic board material systems.
DuPont will present this new offering, along with its broad portfolio of microcircuit materials, at the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium, June 14 - 16 in Long Beach, Calif. Those attending the show are invited to join DuPont at Booth #1235 to participate in a short survey and have a chance to win a new 30GB iPod. The drawing will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16.
"Meeting the demands of the high-frequency military radar and automotive safety system markets is extremely challenging, as those markets demand higher performance with lower costs," said John Voultos, regional segment manager, telecom and high frequency, DuPont Microcircuit Materials. "Both DuPont™ Green Tape™ 943 KX and 943 PX offerings provide a robust, hermetic solution utilizing gold and silver mixed metal conductor systems."
DuPont Microcircuit Materials has over 40 years of experience in the development, manufacture, sale, and support of specialized thick film compositions for a wide variety of electronic applications in the photovoltaic, automotive, biomedical, industrial, military, and telecommunications markets.
