Four New Low Silver Conductive Inks Enable Cost Savings for a Broader Range of Applications
DuPont Microcircuit Materials (DuPont) announced today that it is expanding its suite of low silver, conductive ink materials specifically tailored for membrane touch switch (MTS), radio-frequency identification (RFID), and wearable electronic applications. DuPont will highlight its new offerings and the rest of its innovative product portfolio at the upcoming Printed Electronics USA 2013, November 20 – 21 in Santa Clara, Calif., at booth H08.

Now we are continuing to demonstrate our leadership and focus in this space by expanding our offering to include four new products specifically designed for key applications within the industry.”
Designed to balance conductivity needs with cost concerns, the DuPont PE8XX materials leverage proprietary DuPont technology in order to deliver higher conductivity from precious metals. The product suite announced today includes the following:
- DuPont PE825 and PE826 - specifically designed for MTS applications where cost is key
- DuPont PE815 - for RFID applications to help drive improved radio frequency performance
- DuPont PE871 - for wearable electronics applications that balance conductivity and washability
DuPont will exhibit this product suite at this year’s Printed Electronics USA show. In addition, DuPont will deliver a keynote presentation on Nov. 21 at 5:30pm PST entitled “The Secret to Printed Electronics Growth - Collaboration” as well as teach a master class session on Nov. 19 at 9:00am PST entitled “Polymer Thick Film Overview.” DuPont Teijin Films will also be exhibiting at the booth H08 location, featuring their new optically clear, refractive index matched "TCH" polyester films for touch sensors.
