Conductive Inks for Biosensors

DuPont offers a broad family of conductive inks and materials for biosensors that offer flexibility, high density and can be highly customized. These materials improve sensitivity and overall performance of new sensor designs with fine lines, thin layers, and high conductivity.

DuPont Biosensor Materials include:

  • Electrically conductive compositions including silver, gold, and carbon for lines and contact pads.
  • Silver/Silver Chloride compositions used as electrodes for amperometric sensors, potentiometric sensors, and iontophoretic drug delivery devices.
  • Precious metal-based compositions for working electrodes in amperometric sensors used in analyte detection.
