A BioSensor is a type of biomolecular probe that measures the presence or concentration of biological molecules, biological structures, etc., by translating a biochemical interaction at the probe surface into a quantifiable physical signal such as light or electric pulse. DuPont offers a totally compatible screen printable system for manufacturing these sensors. For general information on biosensors, please go to www.medicaldevicelink.com or www.mendosa.com

Does DuPont sell BioSensors?
No, Please click here for a list of suppliers using DuPont materials.
How do I know what products to order?
How can I get a thicker print?
Screen mesh, squeegee pressure, snap off, print speed, with screen mesh having the most influence.
Why do I have postage stamp edges on my prints?
Screen bias, squeegee pressure, printer set up and emulsion quality are all possible causes.
Should I use polyester or stainless screen mesh?
Either one should work well. Use the one you are comfortable with.
Why do I have high resistivity?
Thickness too low, drying temp, drying time, poor exhaust in dryer. A thicker print will result in lower resistance but may require additional drying due to the increse in material printed. However, AgCl has a higher resistance than Ag; therefore, Ag/AgCl will have higher resistivity.
How do I know if my MTS prints are fully dry?
For Ag, measure resistance, place in oven at drying temp for 30 min, measure again, if change is >10% drying was incomplete. Other MTS products should be fully dry when employing the same profile that gives acceptable results for the Ag.
