The MLDP is an intensive three-year rotational program designed to attract leading marketing talent and develop future corporate leaders for DuPont.
You will complete two to three assignments, lasting 12 to 18 months each, across different business units and platforms. The MLDP is not a training program. As you gain exposure to a variety of marketing and business opportunities through challenging rotational assignments you will be expected to deliver results right from the start. Each rotation will grow the skills necessary to eventually take on a leadership role in a business or market initiative.
You will also experience global exposure, an enjoyable workplace with work-life balance, and receive formal and on-the-job training. You will demonstrate leadership by completing strategic and tactical business-to-business or business-to-consumer marketing and business development projects. You will have high visibility and interaction with DuPont’s senior managers, who serve as executive mentors, and learn in-depth about DuPont businesses, customers, products and services, and strategies. You will learn about DuPont’s core values of ethical behavior, safety, respect for people, and social and business responsibility.
Most assignments are based at DuPont headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware. Wilmington is about a 30-minute commute from Philadelphia and easily accessible to many other cities like New York and Washington, DC. Depending on business needs participants may be based elsewhere in the U.S. Positions may require domestic and global travel.
After completing the program, you will be matched to a leadership position within a DuPont business based on your skills, performance and business needs. As a foreign national, you will be placed in your home region where you will take leadership positions in dynamic, high-growth environments.
“The potential to make an immediate impact to the business is amazing here at DuPont. Global business-to-business marketing is a unique challenge, and senior management is very supportive to new and creative ideas to grow the business.”
