Sydney, Australia – DuPont™ Advion® ant gel, the first non-Boron based ant gel to be launched in Australia, has received registration approval from the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA).
Powered by the MetaActive™ compound, Advion® ant gel leverages the ant’s own enzymes to provide total colony control, even when multiple queens are present. The formulation has been developed to allow fast location and high consumption to deliver fast complete control. Although formulated to provide optimal control on sugar feeding ants, the broad appeal of the formulation means it can also control ant species are not normally associated with a preference for sugar.
With its favourable toxicological profile, Advion® ant gel can be used in sensitive situations without a bait station and its unique gel formulation means it can be placed, without running, on vertical surfaces.
