The book, Getting to Maybe- How the Work is Changed.is a study of real-life examples of social change through a systems lens.Judith McKay, CAO & General Counsel, opened the launch by welcoming guests and emphasizing DuPont’s social commitment. Colleen Brydon,Corporate Operations Manager, introduced the authors, an esteemed group that she met when leading our Social Innovation efforts a few years ago. At that time, DuPont sponsored a Think Tank that ultimately resulted in the creation of the book. DuPont is featured in the Forward. In part, it reads, "…I was struck by the fact that this is one of the world’s great innovation-driven companies. The culture of innovation is powerful inside DuPont and has been central to the company’s success throughout its long history. As DuPont says, "We didn’t get where we wanted to go by taking baby steps. We got there by taking leaps…leaps that have changed everything."." The book launch took place upon the close of a series of Developmental Evaluation workshops hosted by DuPont on behalf of ten non profit organizations
