DuPontâ„¢ Acurumâ„¢ Highlighted in Globe and Mail
On October 24, 2006, DuPont™ Acurum™ was a feature article in the Globe and Mail (G&M), one of Canada’s leading newspapers. The article quoted Murdoch MacKay, vice-president of operations for Agricore United, Canada's largest grain company, "One of the things we're always looking for in the grain industry is consistency," said MacKay. "We're thinking Acurum™ could take the subjectivity out of grain grading." Agricore is currently using two Acurum™ machines in Winnipeg and Vancouver with plans to place four more in its operations across the country. Customer interest is always important and having this interest shared publicly and objectively, is an ideal way of promoting a product. Currently, there are about 20 Acurum™ machines in use across Canada, with a Canadian market potential for about 150 and significantly more in other countries. This kind of media coverage speaks to the innovative appeal of Acurum™.
