On January 18th, Kelly Collver of DuPont and Mike Agar of Invista from St.Clair River Site in Corunna (Sarnia), made a joint presentation to the Bluewater Community Advisory Panel (BWCAP). This panel is comprised of various industry and community members from Lambton County. According to Kelly Collver, Plant Manager at the St.Clair River Site, " The BWCAP is an active group that encourages dialogue between industry and the community on an ongoing basis. " The decision to accept St.Clair River Site as a BWCAP industry member was voted on and accepted in November. The overview from Kelly helped the panel to better understand DuPont's vision, core values and practices at St. Clair River Site. "Building good relationships with the communities in which we do business is vitally important to being able to actualize our Responsible Care® requirements and communicate DuPont and Invista's commitment to EHS Excellence. The last slide of the presentation ended with, "DuPont and Invista at St.Clair River Site are two companies committed to Safety, Health, the Environment and Social Responsibility while striving for manufacturing excellence and the production of premier quality products."
