The DuPont Canada Sustainable Growth Award recognizes teams and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution towards creating shareholder and societal value while reducing our environmental footprint. Each year, the judges have a difficult time in selecting the DuPont Canada regional winners from among the high quality nominations that are submitted, clearly demonstrating a strong and unwavering commitment to sustainable growth. This year was no exception.

We are pleased to announce the two winners of the 2007 DuPont Canada Sustainable Growth Award:

The team developed a highly effective process to produce economic polyol materials from bio-PDO™, enabling a variety of applications that replace petroleum based polyols and enabling DuPont to begin to replace some petroleum sourced components with bio-sourced components.

This team improved yield and reduced polymer waste at the CCS Sarnia facility, which contract manufactures products exclusively for DuPont.
