DuPont Russia at Moscow International Oil and Gas Exhibition (MIOGE) 2007
On the 26-30th of July DuPont Russia took part in MIOGE, Russia's largest oil & gas exhibition. Since its launch in 1993, MIOGE has established itself as a leading event for the Russian energy market. With more than 30 countries represented, 800 exhibitors on total space of 20,000 sq.m, MIOGE is one of the top five oil & gas shows in the world. Having the largest known natural gas reserves of any state on Earth, along with the second largest coal reserves, and the eighth largest oil reserves and being the world's second largest oil producer Russia draws high significance to such events.
At the stand DuPont featured its innovation – Advanced Fiber Systems Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe (RTP) with Kevlar®- new type of RTP, for the first time exhibited in Russia. Other DuPont innovative products (Kapton®, Pipelon®, Viton®, Tyvek®,Tychem®) were traditionally exhibited as well. The stand was attended by Ellen Kullmann – DuPont executive vice-president - in the framework of her visit to Russia. Ian Hudson, DuPont President, Europe, Middle East and Africa, pronounced a speech at the Russian Petroleum Congress, presenting DuPont innovative solutions for sustainability and safety in Oil&Gas industry.
