DuPont innovations for Kazakhstan construction industry
DuPont company took part in the international scientific and practical conference “Increasing quality of asphalt and bitumen” which was held on the 21st-22nd of September in Borovoe (Kazakhstan). The representatives of Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Azerbajan, France, USA, Israel, Netherlands, Italy and Germany took part in the conference. The conference was run under the aegis of the Kazakhstan Ministry of Transport and CIS Intergovernmental Council of Highway Engineers.
The major players of Kazakhstan construction industry, engaged in the road construction, participated in the event. The subject attracts growing attention of the national government. The state program of road construction development aims to reconstruct and to build more than 45 000 km of roads till 2012. DuPont company, aiming to offer to its clients science-based solutions responding at most to their needs, is ready to provide them a wide range of innovative technologies and materials for road construction.
Boris Ukhov, Director of the North-Western filial of DuPont Russia and the leader of construction industry sector was presented at the conference delivering the report of Felipe Sanchez Chavez, DuPont global leader, Paving solutions. In the report the whole range of DuPont innovations for road construction was represented. In particular, Boris Ukhov spoke about road bitumen modifiers improving the quality of paving and increasing their durability, decreasing the level of cracking and washboard. The report provoked a considerable interest and was included in the conference materials collection.
