DuPont seminar for Sevcable holding

On the 24th of September the seminar on DuPont solutions for cable production industry was held at the Sevcable holding facilities. Sevcable holding is one of the major Russian industrial enterprises. The holding was created on the basis of the Russia`s oldest cable plant. At present Sevcable holding is one of the 3 leading cable producers and unites 9 cable production plants, which are located in Russia as well as in Moldova. 

In the seminar, organized by the Eastern Europe business development team, 18 holding technologists, representing all the enterprises of its structures took part. During the seminar the holding representatives got acquainted with the DuPont solutions for the cable industry and discussed the perspectives of broadening cooperation with the representatives of DuPont company – at present the holding is cooperating with several DuPont business units. In the framework of One DuPont concept the whole range of DuPont solutions for cable industry was represented. The representatives of several strategic units made presentations – Engineering Polymers – Alexander Breigin, Packaging and Industrial polymers – Olga Khnychkina, Advanced Fiber Systems – Svetlana Koscheeva, Alexander Ivanov, High Performance Materials – Olga Buldakova, Fluoroproducts – Alexey Arkhipov.

"The highest level of interest was provoked by the new solutions developed by DuPont Engineering Polymers for fiber-optic cables. In particular it concerned Crastin® innovative material from the new Germany plant DuBay, which allows to extrude optic modules at the speed exceeding 300 m/min. At the same time its high level of resistance to hydrolytic degradations ensures its durability”. – comments Alexander Breigin, Marketing representative, DuPont Engineering Polymers.
