DuPont company representatives took part in 2 major regional oil and gas conferences, which took place recently in Moscow – the 6th Russia and CIS Refining Technology Conference (25th-26th of September) and the 7th Russia and CIS Refining technology conference (27th -28th of September).

Russian refining capacities are the world`s second after the United States`. And they have been modernized at one of the world`s quickest pace. Aiming to make oil and gas extraction and refining processes more effective, sustainable and safe, responding to the world highest standards, Russian enterprises are seeking innovative solutions which could help them to face modern industry challenges.

At the 6th Russia and CIS Refining Technology Conference 6th  Robin L. Kump, Licensing director, DuPont licenses several technologies throughout the world that convert basic chemicals to higher value products. These chemical process technologies allow companies that have a low cost position on feedstocks to develop projects for higher margin products. DuPont has recently transferred NaCN technology to LUKOIL Chemical Group to their Saratov plant site. At the 7th Russia and CIS Refining technology conference Nicholas Confuorto, BELCO (www.belcotech.com) Vice President of sales and marketing.
