DuPont took part in the Xith International Exhibition of  Means for Provision of State Security «INTERPOLITEX - 2007», which was held on the 28th-31rd of October in Moscow. The exhibition is the Russia’s major forum for the Means for Provision of State Security. INTERPOLITECH is the unique event of the federal meaning and status, dedicated to the modern armement, security systems and equipage for the army, police and the law-enforcement forces. In the framework of this forum the major producers and suppliers of special technical means and armements present the most up-to-date products and solutions for the consideration of the Russian state security forces representatives responsible for the decision making in the sphere of supplies (mainly, state supplies) and for the implementation of the series of Federal programs. Every year more than 25 000 leaders of the professional and consumer community attend the forum.

At DuPont stand the Advanced Fiber Systems Life Protection and Personal Protection units presented DuPont solutions for military, the law-enforcement forces and EMERCOM.  It was about 25 years ago that the first generation of Kevlar® fibers under the name of Kevlar® 29 was used in US ballistic vests for the first time. Due to the unique combination of high tensile strength, modulus of elasticity alongside flame retardant properties and high heat resistance, Kevlar® is also used in bulletproof and fragment protective helmets. Also, at DuPont stand Nomex® fire-resistant protective garments for police and military as well as Tychem F chemical protection coveralls, which successfully passed the certification for the application in the framework of  chemical warfare agents liquidation at the territory of Russian Federation, were represented.
