On the 6th – 8th February 2008 DuPont Packaging Graphics held Eastern & Central Eastern Europe Distributor Conference in Krakow (Poland). The event represents itself a traditional meeting of DuPont Packaging Graphics distributors, which is held annually.

Russian food market has been growing by leaps and bounds for several years, stimulating the growth of package and label printing industry. This came in pair with the growing demand for the innovative and safe packaging solutions. DuPont Imaging technologies provide products and services that meet those needs efficiently and stylishly. Distributors play a key role in expanding DuPont expertise to the customer. That is why DuPont Imaging technologies puts a great deal of efforts to the thorough work with its distributors. 

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange information on the market trends, to learn about the distributors’ progress and to make up strategic plans for a next year. The main topics, discussed in the framework of the conference, were business achievements and objectives for the region, new product developments for the Flexo market, commercial conditions and prices, DRUPA exhibition 2008, news and objectives by Esko Artworks. The main focus was made on the Packaging graphics innovations coming up this year - at least four new Cyrel® plates (two for use in conventional solvent processes and two Cyrel® FAST)- and also the introduction of several major new system offerings at this year’s DRUPA. In the framework of the conference a visit of the facilities of Chespa, the most advanced tradeshop in Central Eastern Europe, was organized.
