DuPont Customer Interaction Centre (CIC) hosted the Effective Solutions for Meat Processing Industry Seminar on February 14, 2008. The seminar was organized by Solae and DuPont companies in cooperation with TRUMF (Czech Republic) and LUTETIA (France). The issues discussed at this unique seminar covered all operation stages of meat processing.

The seminar participants were especially interested in DuPont’s presentation of Qualicon - an advanced DNA-based pathogen testing system, an innovative system of express quality control of raw materials and product. Specialists had an opportunity to experience in practice BAX™ Q7 Qualicon advantages.

Solae’s presentation discussed market aspects of using soy-based proteins application for food production as well as for innovative emulsified, full-muscle meat products production.

TRUMF International offered information on complex food additives and solutions in production of meat delicacies. The LUTETIA representative continued this interesting discussion, having made a comparative analysis of the efficiency of various methods of meat defrosting.

Finally, DuPont Packaging and Industrial Polymers presented their innovative technologies of packaging of  meat products.

The seminar discussed up-to-date production problems and their solutions, ways to increase cost effectiveness without loss of quality as well as the burning issues of developing the industry in the context of constant surge of prices for raw products.
