March 23, DuPont took part in the opening of the VIII Moscow Children’s book festival “We grow up with books”. This event was organized by the Moscow Book House under the slogan “Reading makes successful future”.
DuPont employees took part in the parade and the company’s banner “Science starts with books” received a special prize for “The best intellectually motivating slogan”.
Over 200 years DuPont uses science to create products for a better, healthier and safer life for people all over the world. The ability to adapt to changes and avid interest in science made DuPont one of the world’s largest innovation companies.
Within the framework of the festival DuPont announced its social project for children’s safety “Dangerous games”.
Work and everyday safety not only depends on new materials and safety products, but also, and most of all, on safe behavior norms and trainings development.
“Dangerous games” is a contest of social advertising, which is held within the framework of the X international student advertising festival as a special nomination.
The aim of the contest is to involve talented students who will develop a series of attractive and comprehensible advertisements for children aged 10-13. By visual means the ad should tell about life and health threatening situations, ways to avoid them and motivate children to be responsible for their and other people’s safety.
The organizers received over 60 entries from Russia and Ukraine students.
This contest is organized by DuPont, «PRосвещение» centre, Moscow Humanitarian University and the Moscow Book House.
“Children are our future! Do remember that a child reading a book today is a magician giving science to the whole world tomorrow!” – said Alexander Vanyukov, Business Development Manager DuPont Safety Resources.
