DuPont at Adam Smith Conference “The Russian Automotive Industry”
DuPont Science and Technologies was the Lead Sponsor at Adam Smith Conferences' 11th Forum for the Russian Automotive Industry on March 11-13, 2008.
The first day Dmitriy Konyushko, Area Regional Development Manager, made a presentation: “DuPont Automotive: solutions for Russian market ”.
The presentation was focused on DuPont as supplier of the most diverse offering of automotive materials with a deep knowledge in science, process and application.

The attendees who represented the leading local and international automotive producers in Russia were introduced to DuPont plans in Russia, its business strategies and also DuPont basic offers.
In the framework of Commercial Vehicles session Vlad Klassen, Deputy Sales Director for Business Development, DuPont Russian Coatings LLC, made a presentation.
He has described the main markets of interest and DuPont potential for the Russian automotive industry. He has also told about DuPont CoatingSolutions structure, geography, customers, brands.
He emphasized DuPont CoatingSolutions key success factors and presented for the attendees the Proline® program - a process for continuous improvement and implementation of customer and DuPont CoatingSolutions specific tasks.
“Today in Russia DuPont CoatingSolutions is the Russian company with Western experience and mentality”, - were the concluding words of Vladislav Klassen.
DuPont’s stand at the Forum attracted a lot participants’ attention. This will help DuPont to implement basic strategies and become closer to the market and potential customers.
