DuPont supports the Exhibition of Innovative Student Projects
Within the framework of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the chemical department of the Moscow State University, the Exhibition of Innovative Student Projects opened with support of the scientific company DuPont.
Moscow, Russia, November 24, 2009 – Today the exhibition of innovative student projects opened at the Moscow State University named after Lomonosov. The exhibition will present the most important works developed by scientists of the Chemical Department over five last years. “These are researches providing possibilities for creation of new materials for electronics, medicine and other critically important branches. A part of researches investigate methods of environment quality control. Significant attention is paid to nanotechnologies” – as Anisimov Alexandr Vladimirovich, the Deputy Dean of the MGU Chemical Department noted.
The exhibition is supported by the global science company DuPont, which laboratories invented globally recognized materials, without which we can no longer imagine our daily life: Teflon®, Nylon®, Lycra®… “We hope that our support will help students of the chemical department to make a step towards discoveries which will change or significantly improve the life of people all over the world” – Angela Schofield, General Director, Russia told.
The exhibition of works is open for visit on the 24th of November 2009 from 11-00 to 17-00. The entrance is free.
