On March 11, 2009, DuPont Animal Health Solutions (DAHS) will introduce a new product line, DuPontTM Virkon® Aquatic Biosecurity Monitoring System, at the Aqua Forum, VIV Bangkok, which caters towards the global Aquaculture market. This will be part of the DuPont overall presence at this international forum featuring 10 keynote presentations, one of which is by Dr. Sri_Nhonghang Supornchai, technical manager, DAHS. He will be speaking on "Novel molecular diagnostic test for shrimp pathogens at your farm: High Sensitivity, Easy to Use and Fast Response."
The DuPontTM Virkon® Aquatic Biosecurity Monitoring System provides an integrated, easy-to-use solution for pond-site shrimp pathogen diagnostic testing that detects viruses impacting shrimp health and farm productivity. Early stage detection with high sensitivity combined with an easy-to-use format in the hand of the farmer allows for rapid feedback and for pond-site decision making. The DuPontTM Virkon® Aquatic Biosecurity Monitoring System provides farmers and producers a next generation diagnostic tool for on-site disease diagnostic, biosecurity monitoring and productivity improvements. The Virkon® Aquatic White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV) test kit is part of the DuPontTM Virkon® Aquatic Biosecurity Monitoring System product line designed for pathogens important to the shrimp aquaculture industry.

VIV Bangkok showcases the industry's trends and technologies by the Feed to Meat concept.
