DuPont Performance Coatings (DPC) recently supplied the 39th WorldSkills International Competition  in Shizuoka, Japan, with Standohyd® -- a waterborne basecoat system -- and additional products as one of its special suppliers.

The WorldSkills International Competition, which first took place in 1950 in Spain and Portugal, is held every two years. The competition is designed to attract and motivate youth to take vocational training by giving them the opportunity to compare their skills and abilities to young people from different countries.

More than 800 participants from 46 countries competed in 48 skills categories.  More than 218,000 people attended the event.
