Representatives from 10 of DuPont Performance Materials' key customers in Mexico recently attended an economic roundtable hosted by
Diane Gulyas, group vice president, DuPont Performance Materials, and other platform leaders. Diane discussed how DuPont can best partner with customers to meet the needs of Mexico's economy. "The economic roundtable was a very dynamic session with rich dialogue and idea sharing," she said.
Luis de la Calle, former undersecretary for International Trade Negotiations in Mexico's Ministry of the Economy, was the guest speaker. He was responsible for the negotiations of the Free Trade Agreements with Japan and the European Union. Dr. de la Calle shared his perspectives on the Mexican economy and international trade with the customers' customers, who represent the automotive, construction, food packaging and consumer goods industries.
"It was great to see a DuPont senior leader engage in this type of customer interaction in an emerging country like Mexico," said PMM CEO Enrique Mejia.
