2007 Annual Review: Improved Communications

Some cell phones use DuPont materialsIn the DuPont 2007 Annual Review, six of the company's recent success stories are highlighted. One of the six focuses on "improved communications" with the following example:

"DuPont™ MetaFuse™ Nanometal/Polymer Hybrids, a patented technology that applies ultra high strength nanometal to components made of DuPont engineering polymers. The result is the best of both worlds: the strength and high stiffness of metal combined with the ability of thermoplastics to enable integration and form complex shapes.  MetaFuse™ is being considered for applications in the automotive, electronics, sporting goods and other markets."
