BMW Sauber F1 Team Races in Spanish Grand Prix
 |
| Kubica takes fourth place in Spain |
The BMW Sauber F1 Team raced in the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona. Robert Kubica finished fourth for the BMW Sauber F1 Team. Nick Heidfeld was forced to refuel during the subsequent safety car period. A stop-and-go penalty dropped him down from fifth place to finish ninth.
The next race will be the Turkish Grand Prix on May 11, during the grand prix race weekend in Istanbul, where the BMW Sauber F1 Team is organizing its first of seven Pit Lane Park events. Spanning about 5,000 square meters, the BMW Sauber F1 Team Pit Lane Park brings Formula One up close and personal with the general public. The admission is free. In the "Safety & Science" garage of Pit Lane Park, DuPont will be demonstrating how its science and innovation are making the BMW Sauber F1 Team cars look and perform better, as well as keep their drivers and team safer.
