DuPont Colombia Supports ‘Reading and Writing’

Students from Tuquerres, Nariño, display their new books.

DuPont Colombia recently donated libraries to five low-income public schools for the "Reading and Writing at School" social responsibility project.  The project’s contributions total USD 13,500 and will benefit about 1,000 students.

Donations have been made to schools in the following sections of Colombia: Atlántico, Antioquia, Boyacá, Cundinamarca and Nariño.  Each library now contains 161 interactive educational books.

“We are responsible for achieving profitable sales while advancing our core values.   DuPont Colombia is doing a great job supporting its local communities,” said Camilo Hernández, general manager, DuPont Performance Coatings, Andean Region.
