The Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA) recently gave DuPont with high ratings on its safety assessment scorecard for achieving significant improvement on seven of LTA's construction projects.

LTA is a statutory board under the Ministry of Transport that spearheads land transportation developments in Singapore.  The authority released their safety scorecard to coincide with the announcement of tighter building controls, an initiative to make the construction industry safer.

The safety assessment was conducted by DuPont Safety Resources (DSR) and was based on 12 critical elements of safety excellence and the six-step contractor safety management system.

"It is an honor to receive this recognition and have our company standards used as a benchmark for achieving safety excellence," said Samuel Tso, business director, DSR, ASEAN.
