DuPont has appointed
Phuong Tram Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective Jan. 1, 2008. Phuong is currently vice president – DuPont Information Technology (IT) Integrated Service Delivery.
He succeeds Bob Ridout, who has elected to retire Dec. 31, following 39 years of service.
Phuong joined DuPont in 1990 and served in a variety of business and functional management positions in Australia and Singapore. He transferred to Wilmington, Del., in 1999 as the IT and eBusiness director for the Agriculture & Nutrition businesses. In 2004, he assumed IT responsibility for DuPont global operations and functions, as well as IT leadership for Asia Pacific and Canada. He was appointed to his current position in December 2006.
