Providing First Aid Training to Educators in Pakistan

Teachers learn basic first aid principles.

DuPont Pakistan Operations recently held a first aid community outreach program to promote injury prevention to about 400 teachers and education managers through The Citizens Foundation (TCF) -- one of the leading non-profit organizations in Pakistan.
The program featured lectures, demonstrations and video presentations with hands-on training on the basic principles of first aid. Participants also learned how to recognize and respond to emergencies including different types of wounds.
“We learned a lot during the training program and we hope to use this information in our daily lives. Thanks to DuPont, we can use these safety tips at our schools and homes,” said Zakia Maqsood, principal, TCF.
