DuPont participates in ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi.

DuPont recently participated in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.  ADIPEC is one of the largest oil and gas shows in the world, with representation from more than 1,500 companies and attendance by more than 35,000 people from 89 countries.  Participants included leading Gulf-based investors, producers, distributors and government representatives.

DuPont presented key oil and gas offerings including clean technologies, high-performance materials, oil well productivity chemicals, personal protection equipment, pipeline solutions, as well as safety management and consulting.  DuPont also presented two technical sessions -- “Benchmarking Safety through Safety Perception Surveys” and “The DuPont Experience in Sustainability - Lessons Learned.” 

“The Middle Eastern oil and gas industry is characterized by strong demand for highly specialized solutions, products and services to meet the growing global challenges,” said Anil Menon, DuPont’s oil & gas industry leader in the Middle East.  “Our strength is our ability to integrate DuPont science in ways that address these challenges. The extensive four-day exhibition provided an excellent platform to meet potential customers and to reinforce our presence in the region.”
